The school year is underway, and if you or someone you know is the type of person who loves helping shape young minds, or making sure they arrive to and from school safely, you're just the type of person the Warrick County School Corporation is looking for!

The Corporation is in need of substitute teachers and full-time bus drives for schools all across the county. According to the job posting on the School Corporation website, "starting pay for a sub bus driver is $63.80/day," and "jumps to standard pay of $72.28/day" after 14 consecutive days with the workday lasting between three to four hours each day.

But what if you've never driven a school bus before? No problem, the Corporation will provide training at no cost to you. The only thing you would need to acquire and pay for is the correct driver's license that allows you to operate the bus. For more information on becoming either a substitute or full-time driver, call Guy Gentry at 812-897-0495.

The School Corporation is also in need of substitute teachers for all the schools under their umbrella. For more details on that position and what it entails, give Judy Ellmers a call at 812-897-6035.
