The world is a crazy and strange place for everybody right now. Our normal has changed and everything seems different and scary. Kids are feeling the same way, maybe even more so. No school, no friends, no sports, no lessons, its all different and confusing. Social distancing is tough for everybody.

So, many parents and grandparents, around the country, are trying to make things a little brighter for kids. Whether it be putting Christmas lights up, putting rainbows in windows, holding special virtual parties or bear hunts, it's putting needed smiles on the faces of children.

My friend, Terra, helped organize the first Warrick County Bear Hunt last weekend. If you missed it, you can still be a part of it. The Teddy Bear Hint was so much fun, it looks like they are doing it again. Here is the info from their event page. There is still time to get your Teddy Bear ready.

OK EVERYONE..... LEAVE THOSE BEARS DISPLAYED
I had soooo many responses from people on how much fun they had. I thought why not just keep them displayed.
Now anytime you get a chance to get out of the house you can still hunt for BEARS! This doesn't have to be just because we are cooped up...It can be FUN ANYTIME.
We are MOVING our BEAR from our front yard to INSIDE our screened in porch.
HE will STAY there INDEFINITETLY
I counted 6 more (different from yesterday) on my way to Boonville today. I found myself looking at every house ..HAHA & like I stated before I'm a grown adult....

So if at all possible LEAVE that BEAR in the window...move your bear in from outside (I'm sure he doesn't want to get wet) and display him indoors.
My husband and I saw several cars go by with kids in them and heard tons of laughter and seen several smiles..
So GREAT JOB WARRICK COUNTY.

***KEEP IN MIND IF THE STAY AT HOME ORDERS BECOME MORE STRICT, WE WILL NOT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GET OUT OF THEIR HOMES
