VHS Hosting Annual “Hairy Pawter” Adoption Event July 28th

The Vanderburgh Humane Society is giving you the chance to put a little magic into the life of one of their residents during their annual "Hairy Pawter & the Magical Creatures" adoption event on Saturday, July 27th. No magic wand required!

Admission is free and will feature $10 off all adoption fees with the opportunity to score even bigger discounts with a spin of the wheel. Potential pets will be sorted into different houses based on their personalities just like the students at Hogwarts to help you find the perfect match for your family.

The event will also feature activities from the Evansville-Vanderburgh Public Library, food from Flourish Plant-Based Eatery, live snakes from Wesselman Woods, and Anna Banana Slime Company selling Harry Potter-themed slimes.
