Vanderburgh County 4-H Center Hosting Recycling Day Saturday

The Evansville Solid Waste District wants your trash. Specifically, the stuff that can be recycled and turned into something else.

Representatives from the District will be at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center tomorrow (Saturday, June 15th, 2019) from 8:00 a.m. until Noon accepting the following recyclable materials:

• Aluminum Cans
• Carboard
• Newspaper
• #1-7 Plastic Containers*
• Metal Food Cans
• Catalogs and Magazines
• Junk Mail

*Most plastic containers fall within this category. Look for the recycle logo on the container (usually on the bottom), it should have a number in the middle. If that number is between 1 and 7, you're good.
