Vanderburgh Co. Fair Cancels 2022 Rodeo

My daughter is a first-year 4-Her and we both learned a ton. The biggest thing we learned was that the weather sometimes doesn't always cooperate with what you have planned. Last week, my daughter and I sweated our booties off at the Warrick Co. Fair. And, unfortunately, the Vanderburgh Co. Fair week is seeing its "fair share" of uncooperative weather.

Today, the organizer of the Vanderburgh Co. Fair sent us this update.

“With great abundance of caution, our 3-j rodeo has been canceled for this evening. We appreciate your understanding. All other events are still on as planned. Thank you!” -Jeff Ziliak, Vanderburgh County Fair President

Fulfill Your 'Yellowstone' Fantasies at The Double J Riding Stables & Horseman's Campground in Western KY

The Double J Riding Stables & Horseman's Campground is situated off the Northeastern corner of Mammoth Cave National Park in Western Kentucky. What drew me to the campground is that they offer horse-friendly campsites for those who have their own horses and also guided horseback trail rides for those who don't!

Our family LOVES horses but we currently don't have a horse for everyone in the family so this would be a perfect solution to get everyone the chance to play cowboy and live out all their Yellowstone fantasies!
