Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and if you haven't made plans, the most romantic hotel in the Hoosier State may be worth a look.

In 2025, February 14 just so happens to fall on a Friday, leaving ample room to celebrate Valentine's Day. There are a ton of ways to enjoy the holiday, from a nice dinner and exchanging thoughtful gifts to even going on a quick weekend trip. If you plan to do the latter and don't want to go a great distance away, there are plenty of things to do in and around Indiana. In fact, the Hoosier State is home to an abundance of couples' activities and hotels—the most romantic of which can be found in Bloomington, according to Reader's Digest.

The Grant Street Inn

The Grant Street Inn is located between downtown Bloomington and Indiana University. It consists of five houses, the first of which was built in 1883 by William Rogers as a gift for his bride. In the early 1990s, the house was purchased by the Cook family and rescued from demolition. It was physically moved one and a half blocks east to its current location, where the Grant Street Inn began operating as a modest bed and breakfast. Since then, the property has been expanded to include four other nearby buildings, evolving into a 40-room hotel.

Each room in the hotel is very unique, and no two are the same. Some are even equipped with operational fireplaces and balconies, in addition to a desk and TV. When it comes to food, a complimentary breakfast is handmade each morning and served buffet-style to guests. And yes, this 4-star inn does have Wi-Fi. It definitely looks like it would be a fun getaway spot, so much so that the night of February 14 is already completely booked up. That said, there are still some rooms available before and after Valentine's Day, if you think it's worth the trip.
