The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around. Here’s a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!


1.) Independence Bank Fourth of July Celebration – Henderson Riverfront

We invite you to the riverfront in downtown Henderson on July 4th for delicious food, children’s activities, terrific music and topping it off with an outstanding fireworks show! Since 2002, Independence Bank and the Downtown Henderson Partnership have worked closely to provide the Henderson community with a fabulous 4th of July fireworks show! More than 5,000 attendees gather for live music, food, family-friendly activities, and fireworks over the river. The food vendors will open at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

2.) Evansville 4th of July Freedom Celebration – Evansville Riverfront

July 4, 2018
On Wednesday, July 4th thousands will flock to Downtown Evansville to celebrate Independence Day on Evansville’s spacious riverfront. Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with food trucks providing a variety of refreshments.Fireworks will begin at 9 PM. Free to attend.

3.) All American Fourth of July – Owensboro Riverfront

July 4, 2018
Join in the Independence Day celebration!  At 4:00 pm the All American Fourth of July begins at the Owensboro Convention Center with free activities for everyone. Reserved seating and meal packages are available for purchase at the Convention Center.  Live music starts at 5 pm at McConnell Plaza with food trucks and vendors all along Veterans Blvd.   When the sun goes down the fireworks begin!  Grab your favorite spot in Smothers Park and enjoy the area’s largest fireworks display celebrating our nation’s birthday!

4.) Scales Lake - Boonville, IN

July 4, 2018

5.) Historic Newburgh Fireworks and Evening in the Park - Newburgh Riverfront

July 3, 2018
It’s an old fashion community Independence Day Celebration, complete with “summer social” type games, lots of food, and a community concert by the Old Dam Band.  This is a great way to teach your kids what it means to be an American.  This is how Newburgh celebrates Independence Day for the United States of America!

6. Rumble Over the Rough - Rough River State Resort Park, KY

June 30, 2018 at 8 PM
The Friends of Rough River bring one of the area's most exciting, if not the best, Fireworks show to Rough River every Independence Day Holiday.  This event funded by local donations is one of the highlights of the year. Fireworks start at dusk, but come early and enjoy food and activities.  This is a "Can't Miss Event!"

7. Freedom Bash - Diamond Lake Resort, Owensboro, KY

June 30th 
Freedom Bash Wear your red, white and blue and show your patriotism. Enter our pie eating contest, and try your hand at “Chicken Chuckin”! June 30th we’ll celebrate with our fabulous fireworks display.

8. Holiday World Friday Night Fireworks

Every Friday night from June 29 through July 27, 2018
Valid admission ticket required for park entry.

10.) Uniontown River Days and Independence Day Celebration

July 7, 2018
Union County Fire Dept and Uniontown City Fire Dept will be hosting the 2018 Uniontown River Days & Independence Day Celebration. Events will take place downtown on Main St on July 7th. Parade will start at 1pm. Fireworks provided by City of Uniontown and local businesses will begin at Dusk. Come join us for food, games, and fun all day!

11.) Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration on the Mount Vernon Riverfront

June 30, 2018
Mt. Vernon Lions Club's Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration this year will be held the Saturday before on June 30th, 2018. Concessions will start being sold at 6:30. Available for purchase are hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, popcorn, and drinks.  The band, REPEAT OFFENDERS will start at 7pm They will end with the National Anthem at 9 so the fireworks can start!
