All Makes and Models

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS who is looking for a forever home.  This week we have a few 8 month old pups, Twister and his sisters!

Meet Twister, Checkers, Uno, and Scrabble!

These sweet pups are 8 months old, and have been at the VHS since New Year's Day.  Thankfully their 2025 started much better than their 2024 ended as they came from freezing cold conditions.  Now these siblings are looking for their forever homes, where the only time they'll be freezing is when they're playing in the snow with you, and can come in and cuddle up on the couch with you after.

Meet “Twister and his sisters!” These siblings are 8 months old and came to the VHS on New Year’s Day after they’d been living outside in wet, muddy, freezing conditions. They have now blossomed into fun goofballs, and would love to go to four separate homes! Twister is the only male, and he’s brown. Checkers is his brown sister. And both the black pups are females: Uno and Scrabble! Each pup’s adoption fee is only $200 and includes their spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, and a starter bag of food!
