I tried something for dinner tonight that I think you might like to try if you're watching calories. On a whim, I whipped a cup of low fat cottage cheese until it was the consistency of heavy cream. I added a teaspoon of Hidden Valley dressing dry mix for about 170 calories. Compare this to a cup of  sour cream at 492 calories. I can't tell much difference. I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of whipping cottage cheese but this is the first time I've tried it. If you're watching calories, you might give it a try.
