Trisha Yearwood is set to host the 2019 CMA Country Christmas special on ABC, bringing a new slant to the long-running Christmas tradition in its tenth year.

Yearwood is also set to perform on the 2019 CMA Country Christmas, joined by a roster of top talent from across country and other genres that includes Kristin Chenoweth, for King & Country, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young. A press release promises a "night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations."

Reba McEntire hosted the CMA Country Christmas program in 2017 and 2018, taking over from Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles, who helmed the show for the first seven years it aired. Yearwood is looking forward to her turn in the Yuletide spotlight.

Trisha, Garth, Luke + More Will Warm Your Heart:

“Music, memories and enjoying the season with loved ones are what make Christmastime so special,” she says. “Hosting CMA Country Christmas is an opportunity to share joy and celebrate the holidays with friends and family everywhere.”

The 2019 CMA Country Christmas is set to tape live on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Curb Event Center, which is located on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville. Tickets are slated to go on sale to the public on Friday (Sept. 6) at 10AM CT via the CMA Country Christmas official website. The show will air later in the year on ABC. The air date for the 2019 CMA Country Christmas has not yet been announced.

Fall and winter are shaping up to be busy for Yearwood, who released her latest album, Every Girl, on Aug. 30. The album's lead single, "Every Girl in This Town," is currently at country radio. Yearwood teams with her husband, Garth Brooks, for a sexy duet titled "What Gave Me Away." Another song on the project, "Workin' on Whiskey," is a duet with Kelly Clarkson, and Don Henley also joins Yearwood on a track titled "Love You Anyway."

Yearwood is slated to kick off her Every Girl on Tour on Oct. 3.
