Weather alerts are pretty common in the Evansville area, but I don't think I've ever seen a High Traffic Alert for Downtown Evansville.

Recipe for Chaos

Multiple events are scheduled in Downtown Evansville for Saturday, June 3, 2023, and with random roads blocked for construction, a parade, and a full moon all on the same day, there could certainly be some traffic chaos. Hopefully, having this information and a map for parking will help curb potential issues.

Old National Events Plaza

The Old National Events Plaza is hosting two events on Saturday. Jurassic Empire will be held from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM in the Brooks Exhibition Hall. Keep in mind that tickets for this event are in 2-hour increments, so there will be families coming and going during those hours.

Comedian Nate Bargatze's first set of the night starts at 7:00 PM, and the second show begins at 9:30 PM and is scheduled to end at 11:00 PM.

Remember, these will be the first two events with the new cashless policy at ONEP.

Ford Center

The Jehovah’s Witness Regional Conference will be held at The Ford Center. The last time this event was held in Evansville, it brought more than 10,000 people to Downtown Evansville.
