Ollie's Bargain Outlet Store, Roses Discount Department Store, and Treasure Hunt are all coming to Henderson.

If you are a bargain shopper or a browser like me, you will be ecstatic with this news! According to The Gleaner, "Don Ershig, owner of Ershig Properties in Henderson, told the Rotary Club of Henderson on Thursday that two of the stores will fill in what remains of the vacated Kmart store in the Gardenside Shopping Center."

This also means more jobs in the Henderson area. Ershig stated, "Overall, with just the four stores opening here, that will bring in about 50 to 60 full and part-time jobs to this community," he said. "This won't be what you call an economic boon to this town. What we're doing is replacing the retail base that was here once before. But it's still a good, solid contribution to this community as far as jobs are concerned."

Two of the stores are expected to open in April or May.
