Earlier this week Roy Clark passed away at the age of 85. I feel like most know him from the television show "Hee-Haw". I'll be honest, I hated that show as a kid. When I got older, I started to like it. l would learn later that he's extremely talented.

This right here is before he was on "Hee-Haw". Way before that. He showed that he was versatile and very good at it. I like that he's with Jimmy Dean. Yep, the sausage man. Though he had more of a career than just sausage. Jimmy Dean knew Roy Clark because they were once band mates in the mid 1950's.

Time would go on and Roy Clark would branch out and he would win various music award in the 1970's and 80's. During those different time, my quirky ways noticed that he would have nice quaffed hair. I noticed because he was in ketchup commercials. I was a kid. Ketchup is LIFE for a kid.

Time would move on as it does and on a reunion show for "Hee-Haw" he would show that he still has fabulous banjo skills. Not sure when this was done but you could see that he still was amazing though he was getting older.

Sadly, you can never keep the great ones around. He will be missed!!
