A Smoky Mountain Getaway

I don't know about you, but it seems like lately, the mountains have really been calling my name! In my personal opinion, the Smoky Mountains are the perfect place to go for a getaway.  First, the Smoky Mountains aren't too far from the Tri-State, Gatlinburg is about a 6-hour drive.  It's the perfect distance for a long weekend. Also, there is SO much to do! Whether you want to enjoy the fun, touristy attractions in town, or soak up some nature in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there's truly something for everyone. And for the first time, you can add floating through a kaleidoscope to your Smoky Mountain bucket list!

WIld Waterdome Indoor Waterpark

If you're thinking of heading to the Smoky Mountains and want to enjoy some time in the water, this indoor waterpark may be the perfect place for you to stay and play.  Located in Sevierville is Wilderness At The Smokies, a hotel and waterpark resort.  And even if it's chilly outside, you can still work on your tan.

Bring your sunscreen! The Wild WaterDome has also doubled in size with our new expansion, located at River Lodge, features a see-through-roof that bathes the entire park in natural light and actually allows guests to tan (and tropical plants to flourish) all year long!

The waterpark has something for everyone from their Ridge Runner Watercoaster to a wave pool, hot spa, and shallow activity pool for kids.  But everyone is talking about their new lazy river that takes you through a colorful kaleidoscope.
