Small-town charm is alive and well in Southern Indiana! These are some hidden gems you will want to visit!

There is something nostalgic about a small town in the Midwest.  I think because the hustle and bustle slows down, and you are transported almost back in time to when things weren't so cookie cutter.  All across the state of Indiana, we have several charming small towns that are as unique as they are historic.  What's also neat is there were a few of these small towns that are located here in the Tri-State!

I have to be honest; there is a YouTuber called Adventures with Roger, and I would LOVE to go on the adventures he does.  He's always highlighting the Hoosier State and sharing unique places to visit.  Often, when we live in a state like Indiana, we can tend to get very negative about our home.

I mean, let's be honest, Indiana is not the biggest or flashiest state and is often overlooked.  So, I love seeing someone take Indiana and highlight what makes our state incredible.  When living somewhere, you can get jaded and not see the beauty from an outsider's viewpoint.  I love that this recent video from Adventures with Roger got me wanting to visit these small towns, even ones that I've been to numerous times here in the Tri-State!

Adventures with Roger shared a video where he visited several small towns across Southern Indiana, and it wouldn't be hard to make a road trip from this list.

The towns he visited are:

As you can tell, there are a few on this list that are located within a short driving distance from Evansville and are here in the Tri-State.  Now, I know that when you're from the region, you may be like me and be quick to think, "Wait, that town is considered charming?"   But watch the video, I promise you, you'll see that small town in a new light.  We truly have some charming hidden gems across Southern Indiana, and now I want to take a road trip!
