A Tri-State band is asking for you to nominate a veteran for them to send on the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana.

Tailgate Revival, a band based out of Evansville, wants to say "thank you" to veterans by sending them on the Honor Flight. In case you are not familiar with the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana,  here is a little bit about it:

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

 

This trip is funded by charitable donations from folks in the community. Tailgate Revival has decided to donate to the cause to send Veterans on this trip happening November 3rd. So if you know of someone who served in World War 2, Korea, or Vietnam, simply nominate them in the post below
