Downtown Evansville and the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana are hosting a free socially distanced, outdoor yoga session on Thursday, 9/24.

Lisa Verkamp from the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana joined the MY Morning Show to talk about the steps being taken in order to keep their members.

It looks like we will be able to sweat it out with our friends again very soon, with some restrictions of course.

Construction began June 2018 on the 80,000-square-foot, two-story facility, and it it set to open in September.

This friendly cross-town rivalry is also a great fundraiser for the YMCA after school soccer program!

Founded by Don and Lori Mattingly, Mattingly Charities has partnered with the MLB's Revive Baseball in Inner cities (RBI), establishing a program  in Evansville as part of the effort to serve underprivileged youth.

On Wednesday, the Dunigan Family YMCA on Evansville's east side cut the ribbon on a new era in their facility.  A new 20,000 square foot expansion is now open and this week, The Y is offering a Try the Y Open House.
