Rick Monroe snapped up the win in the Country Whuppin' last week after his in-studio appearance, and now he is in the driver's seat!  Today, he defends his title against one of the up-and-coming female stars of country, Raelynn!

Miranda Lambert is going back to the future. The country superstar is resurrecting her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour for a run of dates in the fall.

RaeLynn is known for her music, for being a finalist on The Voice ... and for taking selfies. While we loved hearing her talk about her new song "For a Boy" and the video that's going to be released very soon, we were also appreciative of the selfie skills course she put on during a recent visit.

The four other songs on RaeLynn's 'Me' EP prove the unique, sharply-penned 'God Made Girls' wasn't just a happy songwriting accident. This 20-year-old has serious skills in the writer's room, and she's friends with some of the hottest writers in town.

It was a very close race, but we have a new champion on the Country Whuppin' and her name is Raelynn!  The Voice alum, brings her show to Evansville with Miranda Lambert on January 15th, but brings her song "God Made Girls" to the Country Whuppin' to face a challenge from Josh Turner's "Lay Low."

Last week was our special Week of Whuppin', and I didn't realize it would be just that.  Carrie Underwood won all five days and found herself in the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame!  So, to start out this week, we have two new challengers facing off to become champion, Raelynn and Chuck Wicks!
