Hey, did you know there was going to be an Inside Out sequel short included in the film’s Blu-ray and DVD release? We didn’t either! But there’s going to one and the first clip from the short, titled “Riley’s First Date,” is online and everything.

While Cars would eventually come to be about hotshot racing car Lightning McQueen, Cars was originally titled “The Yellow Car” and was going to be about an electric car living in a gas-guzzling world. It’s been at least five years since the last great Pixar film (or more, depending on your feelings about Toy Story 3). In the interim, they produced a series of sequels — some quite entertaining, but few as transcendently beautiful as the original concepts that turned the studio into the most dependable brand in all of Hollywood. Their latest effort, Inside Out, isn’t just a return to form; it surpasses almost all of their previous classics. It is, from start to finish, one of the best films Pixar has ever made.

It's been almost two years since our last Pixar movie (Monsters University in 2013), but that's thankfully about to change this summer with the release of Inside Out. From Up director Pete Docter, Inside Out is also only the second original Pixar film since 2009, which makes its arrival extra exciting. With college football bowl games happening now, Pixar has made an ad for their college-themed film 'Monsters University' and unleashed it during the games. It's the sort of clever ad that gives hope that the prequel to 'Monsters, Inc.' has a couple tricks up its sleeve.

In the tear-jerker animated film 'Up,' a home is lifted into the sky by a cluster of party balloons.  While it all looks great in Pixar's beautiful animated style, it doesn't seem like it would be something you could pull off in real life.
