Pretty soon, kids and adults will all have the exact same shows to grow up on. Filming on a brand-new Blue’s Clues is set to begin this summer, and Nickelodeon will hold open auditions for the next host (but sadly not the dog).

Damn near everything popular between 1985 and 1999 has been rebooted, reimagined, reworked, or remade in the studios’ relentless efforts to wring every last drop of earning potential from existing creative properties. Some efforts have been more successful than others, but either way, Nickelodeon has moved to throw their own hat into the ring.

One of the more popular shows in the '80s and '90s was Nickelodeon's 'Double Dare' and of course the main feature of that show was the Slime that would drench unfortunate contestants. There are hundreds of videos on YouTube featuring the slime, one video is included below, but the question everyone wanted answered was...what was in the slime?
