Today is National Kazoo Day! On this date back in 1840, in Macon, Georgia, The Kazoo was born. And for all those of us who never learned to play a musical instrument, we are rejoicing - because the Kazoo makes us feel like we are part of the band.

When you think about the music business today, you probably don't think about how whistling has played a part in music over the years. Whistling is something that most of us can do to some extent and there are some of us who are very good whistlers and more of us who are not good whistlers.

My kids were complaining the other day in our Downtown condo about how bored they were because it was too cold to go outside.
