The 2013 SMILE ON DOWN SYNDROME BUDDY WALK took place yesterday at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center. The weather was not great, to say the least, but that didn't stop anybody from having a good time! I woke up in a pretty terrible mood. I had mosquito bites from the night before, I was really tired and it was POURING...

On Saturday, SMILE held their 11th annual Buddy Walk in Evansville.  As always, it was a great event with beautiful weather and even more beautiful people!

The 2012 SMILE on Down Syndrome Buddy Walk is back this year for the 11th time on October 6th at Vanderburgh 4H Fairgrounds.  You can celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness Month and help raise much needed funds, while having a great time!

Saturday was a beautiful day for another Buddy Walk for SMILE on Down Syndrome.  I always enjoy being a part of such a wonderful event.

SMILE is a perfect name for the organization designed to provide support to people with Down Syndrome.  It's perfect because it's hard not to smile when these folks are around.  This year will be my 3rd year at the Buddy Walk in Evansville, and every year I have more and more fun!  I can't wait to walk again this year, and see the other activities and sing alongs that come along with it at the Vad
