Andy Griffith, one of television's most beloved stars has died at the age of 86. The cause of death is not immediately known, but according to a long time friend, Bill Friday, Griffith passed away at his home in Manteo, North Carolina, earlier this morning.

It comes as sad news to us today according to TMZ the legendary, Andy Griffith has died at his home in North Carolina.  The lovable father and sheriff of Mayberry in the "Andy Griffith Show" was 86 years old.
