Lexi is a 9-month-old tortie ready to find her forever home!

All Makes and Models

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS who is looking for a forever home.  This week, we've got a sweet tortoiseshell cat named Lexie!

Lexi is a tortoiseshell cat (tortie for short), which refers to her markings.  Typically, torties are black and orange, but this pretty girl is a muted tortie, with more gray and peach.  She gets along with other cats, and is just waiting to find her forever home.

Here is what the VHS has to say about Lexi:

Lexi - 9-month-old dilute tortoiseshell! Beautiful girl who gets along fine with other cats. Kitten season is coming — and soon the older kitties like Lexi will be overlooked for tiny cute babies. We need to keep adoptions moving for our teenage/adult cats before the flood of kittens begins. Lexi is spayed & ready to go home today for only $100!
