Superheroes Descend on Popular Indiana Festival

The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival was in good hands Friday night when a few super friends showed up to keep an eye on the festivities.

Batman, Robin, and a Few Friends Return to the Fall Festival

Earlier this week, rumors began to swirl that the Dynamic Duo would be making a return to the festival. That return was confirmed on Thursday by the Evansville Police Department on Facebook who also said the Caped Crusader let them know he and the Boy Wonder would be joined by a few of their super-powered buddies.

The group appeared on the roof of the Gerst Haus Restaurant at the corner of 10th and Franklin Street as the sun started to set. Along side Batman and Robin was Batgirl, who was making her return appearance, along with the King of Atlantis, Arthur Curry, better known as Aquaman.

This is Batman and Robin's fourth appearance on Franklin Street during the Fall Festival after making their debut in 2019. That year, they were also joined by a certain bow-and-arrow wielding hero in a rare Marvel-DC Comics crossover.

Obviously, the Evansville Police Department does a great job keeping residents safe as they make their way up and down Franklin Street enjoying all the great food, rides, and entertainment the Fall Festival has to offer, but it's never a bad idea to have a little backup if the situation gets a little dicey. So, it's good to have a few super friends on speed dial to come lend a hand.
