The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, in hopes of helping them find their forever homes.  This week our Pet of the Week is Stanley.  Stanley has spent nearly a year at the shelter, and he's ready for a permanent home.

Stanley is a very good boy who loves belly rubs and playing outside. Right now Stanley's adoption fee is reduced to only $50!

Stan the Man (aka Stanley) is one of our longest residents and has been at the VHS since October 2023! This 4-year-old good boy loves rolling around in the grass, getting belly rubs and going on car rides. A meet and greet with potential dog friends is a must, as he can be picky about the company he keeps.
