An 18-month-old Newburgh boy and his family need our help. Kaiser Vallee was born with many heart defects and has been in and out of the hospital most of his young life. As he faces more surgeries and treatment, the community is coming together to support the family.

This summer has been a rollercoaster for Kaiser's family. Kaiser was diagnosed with multiple heart defects. Their lives were brought to a screeching halt as they faced unexpected and heartbreaking challenges. Although the road ahead can be hard and uncertain, family, friends, and the community will be standing by their side every step of the way.

KAISER'S REMARKABLE MEDICAL JOURNEY

Kaiser is a brave little boy. He's been through multiple surgeries, battled viruses and infections, and keeps fighting. Today, Kaiser was diagnosed with MRSA, which isn't the news anyone wanted to hear. The family will band together to stay strong and cope with whatever lies ahead while asking us to open our hearts to pray for Kaiser.

"Kaiser is 18 months old and was born with many heart defects. He’s had three small procedures since birth that have helped him grow enough for the BIG surgery that he had on August 29th, which ended up turning into three open heart surgeries three days in a row.

He has developed complications since those surgeries and is having to have another open heart surgery very soon. His two-week recovery time has turned into much longer than anticipated.", Kaiser's Aunt Morgan shared on September 24th, 2023

We pray that God heals his little body and that the treatments he receives will be successful. Riley Hospital for Children is the best, and he will get amazing care.

ACCOUNT SET UP TO HELP THE FAMILY

While the family focuses on his care, their responsibilities at home don't stop. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help ease the financial burden for the family. They're already under enough stress and anxiety.

"The cost of gas, food, and hotels are adding up by the day and unfortunately, the fundraising that has been done is running out to cover utilities at home as well as hotel stays, gas, and food during their stays in Indianapolis.",
Morgan shared

This is such a scary time for everyone. The unknown with Kaiser and his medical journey. The scariness of what tomorrow may bring. We'll continue to pray his heart will be healed.
