Sk8r Girl is as cool as her name makes her sound, and she's ready to find her forever home!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS along who is looking for their forever home, this week is a dog so cool, her name has a number in it!

Meet Sk8r Girl

Sk8r Girl is a dog that is as cool as her name.  She's a shepherd mix, and while she doesn't know how to skaeboard, she is very quick to learn new tricks.  She also loves to play, she came from a home with kids, and loves a high energy environment.

Move over boys – It’s Sk8er Girl, a totally cool 1 year old shepherd mix. She might not know any flip kicks or how to shred the skate ramps, but she is very smart and enjoys puzzle games and learning new tricks. She has lived with kids and does well with other dogs, too! She still has a lot of puppy energy and will need a home that is willing to work with her, as well as keep her body AND mind active.
