Several Vanderburgh County Roads Still Closed Due to Flooding

Flooding left behind from the large amount of rain we've received over the past several weeks is finally starting to recede, however not enough yet to open a number of roads across Vanderburgh County.

According to the County Highway Department, the following roads are still under water:

• Schissler Road from West Franklin Rd to Posey County
• Eisterhold Road from Pleasant Road to Seminary Road
• Bayou Creek Road from Old Henderson to Schmuck Road
• Schmuck Road from Bayou Creek to Schissler Road
• South Green River Rd from I-69  to Lynn Road
• Lenn Road from Pollack Avenue to South Green River Road
• River Road from U.S 41 to Nugent Road
• Seminary Road from Duesner Road to Old Henderson Road
• County Line Road (East) from Millersburg to Warrick County Line
• Pleasant Road from Cypress Dale Road to Bayou Creek Road
• Nurrenbern to Golden Rule Road
• Happe Road from Duesner Road to Old Henderson Road
• King Road from Old Henderson Road to Happe Road
• Hickory Ridge Road from Old Henderson Road to Happe Road
• Golden Rule Road from Old Henderson Road to Seminary Road
• Waterworks Road from Veteran’s Memorial Parkway to Highway 41
• Lyle Road from Nurrenbern Road to Bayou Creek Road
• West Franklin Road from Smith Diamond Road to Seminary Road
• Roth Road from Seminary Road to Cypress Dale
• Shore Road
• Cypress Dale from Seminary Road to West Franklin
• South Weinbach from the Levee to River Road
• Newman Road from Hickory Ridge Road to Old Henderson Road
• Duesner Road from Seminary Road to Happe Road

Remember, if you come upon a road with water across it, don't attempt to drive through it. Turn around!
