According to this list from Business Insider Sears is closing down 30 more Sears and Kmart stores across the country, they've gotten this information from a few of the stores employees.

It's said the liquidation sales for these stores should begin on January 6th, and business will close between late March/Mid April

Here's the stores in the tri-state we will be saying goodbye to in 2017

Kmarts in the tri-state that will be closing in 2017

  • 2815 West Parrish Ave., Owensboro, Kentucky
  • 1501 Paris Pike, Georgetown, Kentucky
  • 14662 N. US Highway 25 E, Corbin, Kentucky
  • 1710 W. Highway 192, London, Kentucky
  • 3010 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, Kentucky

When I checked the list the only Sears near the tri-state I saw closing is the Sears in Paducah, so if you don't frequent that Sears then good news your Sears isn't closing!
