Rockport Raceway Features Serious Go-Karts

If you thought go-karts were just for fun, think again.  There's a place in the Tri-State where go-karters compete for bragging rights and some serious cash.  Rockport Raceway is well into their 2011 season with races nearly every weekend from now until the fall.  This Saturday, June 18th is Clone Mania 25, where the winner will take home a $500 prize in the Clone Medium Special division.  For a spectator, you can get a whole new racing experience and for only $5.00 for grandstand tickets.  Gate for this Saturday's event open at 3pm, with practice at 5pm, and racing at 6pm.  You'll find Rockport Raceway on State Road 161 South in Rockport, Indiana.  You can also find out more about go-kart racing and see the rest of the 2011 schedule at rockportraceway.com
