2020 was a rough year to put it mildly, but fortunately it's coming to an end and we can look to hopefully brighter days ahead in 2021. What better way to kick off the new year then by adding a new furry member to your family you can cuddle and share whatever the new year brings.

Jasmine would love to be that new furry family member. The one-year-old calico is currently being taken well care of by our friends at the Vanderburgh Humane Society and can be the newest member of your family today. She's already spayed, is great with other cats, and lived with a dog at her previous home. Her adoption fee is $40 which also includes all her vaccinations. Here's a look at Jasmine taking a stroll around the cat room at the VHS.

The shelter will be open from Noon until 3:00 p.m. New Year's Eve, and closed New Year's Day. It will reopen with its regular hours on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021.

Wanna watch cats playing LIVE 24/7 (if they’re not sleeping) on their new Petcube Play in the Cageless Cat Lounge and at the River Kitty Cat Cafe. Download the free Petcube app, create an account, and find “VHS Cat Lounge.” The camera runs all the time and if you turn your phone to landscape, you can control the built-in laser pointer and play with the kittens! vhslifesaver.org!
