Join Historic Newburgh Inc. this Saturday, October 24 at 2pm for the kickoff of their annual ghostly stroll walking parade in downtown Newburgh, followed by more Halloween events you won’t want to miss!

Children and pets are invited to dress in their best Halloween costumes! Meet at the town hall parking lot at 1:45pm. The ghostly stroll walking parade will last approximately 30 minutes. During the parade judges will select their favorite pet and child costumes. There will be prizes awarded for the top costumes.

After the parade there will be trick or treating in the shops in downtown Newburgh from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

The 1st annual Harvest Festival & Market will be held at the Lou Dennis Park, 402 Park Drive in Newburgh (where the Fortress of Fun and pool are located) from 3pm – 6pm,  with free activities for the kids, a harvest farmers market,  live entertainment, fall photos and more!   Refreshments will be for sale at the event.

Stay at the park for a free outdoor family movie, Hocus Pocus to be featured at approximately 7pm in the grass.  Please bring chairs or blankets.

Parking will be available at the park. Additional parking will be available at the Newburgh Senior Center and the Newburgh Elementary School. A free shuttle will be running from 3pm-9:30pm for the harvest fest and outdoor movie.   Parking will not be permitted in the grass or on the basketball court.
