Next time you take a stroll or a drive along the Newburgh riverfront, you'll noticed a splash of color has been added thanks to vision of three of its residents.

Karin Van Wey, Penny Kroeger, and Lesley Nelson recently decided the already beautiful riverfront could use a little dash of color, so they reached out to town officials for permission, and after getting the green light, rounded up some friends and family to start "yarn bomb" several of the trees, benches, and lamp posts that line Water Street. Take a look to see it how it all came together through the lens of photographer, Steve Geis.
