Newburgh Police Share Trick or Treat Times, and Safety Tips

Halloween will be here soon, we're less than a week away! But now is the time to go over some safety tips, and make sure you know your trick or treat times! 

Today the Newburgh PD shared info on Halloween, from trick or treat times to safety rules, here's what they had to say on their Facebook page:

Halloween information for the Town of Newburgh.

Halloween will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

In the Town of Newburgh, recommended hours for Trick or Treating are from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Halloween Safety Tips from the Newburgh Police Department:

· Cross the street at corners.
· Walk on sidewalks or paths.
· Watch for cars.
· Carry a flashlight or glow sticks.
· Only go to homes that have a porch light on.
· Remind children not to eat candy until after they return home and an adult inspects their candy.
