Fellow foodies, rejoice! Evansville will soon be home to a new pub and restaurant. The new establishment will be opening on the northside, off Highway 41.

A New Northside Restaurant and Bar is On the Way

The new pub will be going into the former Denny's Diner located at 19501 Elpers Road, near the intersection of Highway 41 and Interstate 64. If you're like me you likely have some memories of that old chrome building.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

In my early-20s, that shiny, glinting edifice was where we would end up in the early hours of any random Sunday morning for pancakes and coffee after we had left the bar scene. Who Owns It and Are They Hiring?

Evansville 411 News goes on to say that the new restaurant and pub is owned by the same people responsible for some of our other favorite local eats like The Landing - Newburgh, The Rooftop, and Birdies Downtown Evansville.

At this time there has been no mention of an opening date, but according to a post on the Pips Pub Facebook page, they are currently hiring servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

My pallet is very 'Kid menu' friendly, but I'll sit and watch Triple D all day.
