It's a strange world in which we live, so you never really know who you're going to encounter while traveling. Some experiences are probably more memorable than others, and not always for the best reasons. For folks traveling through the Indianapolis International Airport on July 15, 2023, it's safe to say one moment is probably burned into their memories forever.
South Carolina Man Gets Naked at Indianapolis Airport
According to Fox 59, George Stevens, 38, of South Carolina, was passing through security at the Indianapolis airport when he was asked to step aside for a pat-down search by a TSA officer. Court documents revealed Stevens appeared intoxicated, was uncooperative, and called the officer a "freak" while the area around his groin was patted down. It only got worse from there.
Stevens eventually pulled both his pants and underwear down to his ankles before shaking his rear end at officers. He even removed his underwear completely and threw them at the supervisor. Soon after, he was completely naked in front of everyone — including families traveling with children. Stevens was ultimately arrested and charged with security interference and assaulting a federal officer.

Naked Man Pleads Guilty, Receives Prison Time
John E. Childress, acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, said in a release that lewd and violent behavior toward security staff will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Earlier this week, Stevens pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison. It was also revealed that he has prior convictions related to domestic violence and firearms offenses.
