If you've never seen the heart-pounding action of Monster Jam, you are missing out.  My son is 3 and is obsessed with monster trucks.  Until I took him to his first Monster Jam show last year, I had completely forgotten how incredible it was to see these massive 12,000lb trucks go flying through the air; it's truly a sight to behold and now an annual tradition in our family.

One thing I find so fascinating is just how big these trucks are.  According to Monster Jam's website, each truck is approximately 10.5 feet tall, and the engine generates about 1,500 horsepower.  That's a whole lot of power under those hoods!

At the event, you'll see a ton of action, including a donut contest, a skills challenge, and a freestyle challenge.
