Meet the 3 Indiana Athletes Competing in the 2022 Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympics are underway in Bejing, China, and while I'll assume you're pulling for everyone on Team USA to bring home all the medals and leave none for the rest of the world, I'll also assume you're not familiar with any of them. If you're looking for a few to pull for specifically as they compete for gold over the next couple of weeks, here are three fellow Hoosiers you can cheer for.
Personally, I find the Summer and in this case, Winter, Olympics are more enjoyable when I have a specific athlete or two to follow. Be honest, would you have been as invested in swimming during the past two Summer Games if Evansville's own Lilly King didn't compete? If you said, "Yes," you either have a child who participates in competitive swimming or you're lying. I can tell you the only races I watched during those games were those Lilly competed in. Other than that, I did not care.
We obviously don't have a ton of athletes from Indiana to root for in Bejing, but that may be for the best. Having only three means less to keep track of. And I don't about you, but I have a hard enough time focusing on multiple things, so this makes it much easier for my brain to process.
Without further adieu, let's meet the three Hoosiers who are some of the best in the world at what they do attempting to prove they are THE best by securing a gold medal to hang around their neck.
