Maren Morris’ Son Is a True Texas Cowboy After Getting His First Pair of Boots [Pictures]

Maren Morris recently headed back to her Texas roots, spending some time with husband Ryan Hurd and son Hayes in Fort Worth.

It was during this trip that the couple indoctrinated their son into the Texas cowboy scene — Hayes got his first pair of cowboy boots!

In an Instagram post, Morris showed off their little one’s new pair of boots with a carousel of photos of Hayes wearing them around town.

“First pair of boots,” the singer writes to accompany the snapshots.

Morris and Hurd are dressed casually in the photos, taking in what looks to be a nice day in Fort Worth. Judging by the last photo, they stopped by the legendary White Elephant Saloon.

Many fans and friends flooded the comments, noting how cute it was to see Hayes walking around in the boots and white-wash jeans.

Lindsay Ell was there to add a heart eyes emoji, while Jake Owen played with the chorus from Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings's classic hit, “Mammas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to Be Cowboys.”

Morris will head to Las Vegas to perform during the 2022 ACM Awards on Monday (March 7). For the first time ever, the ACMs will not air on a major TV network, but rather stream live on Amazon Prime Video in an uninterrupted, commercial-free two-hour broadcast.

Then, the singer will head back to Texas for her performance at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo on March 8.
