Vet Bills Getting Expensive? Low Cost Vaccine Clinic in Evansville on Saturday
The Vanderburgh Humane Society shared with us, Calvin, our adorable Pet of the Week, and information about their low-cost vaccine clinic happening this weekend.
Vet Bills Add Up Fast
The cost of everything is rising, and vet bills are no exception. Vet bills add up quickly, and if you have ever taken your pet to the vet, you get this. Pets are family, and we want to treat them like family, but the bill can get big pretty quickly. The VHS understands this, and that's why they offer bi-monthly low-cost vaccine clinics.
Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics At the Vanderburgh Humane Society
Every month, the VHS hosts two low-cost vaccine clinics. This is a way for you to get your dog or cat fully vaccinated while saving yourself some money. The clinic takes place two Saturdays a month from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The vaccine clinic is on a first-come first first-served basis, and the VHS recommends getting there early, as they try to see as many animals as possible.
The Next Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic is Saturday, July 19th
If your pet needs to get their vaccines, the next opportunity is coming up this weekend. Pets that are spayed or neutered will have a $10 exam fee, and pets that are not fixed will have a $25 exam fee. And the vaccines all have different prices. You can find the full price list here. If you can't make it on Saturday, the VHS will have more low-cost vaccine clinics in the coming months on the following dates:
- August 9th & 23rd
- September 6th & 13th
- October 11th & 25th
- November 8th & 22nd
- December 6th & 20th
