Littering is lame, and this sign hilariously targets litterbugs.

Littering is Lame

Littering is one of those things that I cannot stand to see.  It's so lazy, and not to mention it's not good for the environment.  My friends can attest to this too.  One time I had a friend throw a napkin out of the window of my car when we were teenagers, and I slammed on my breaks and made her go get it.   It's something that has always been a pet peeve of mine.  Recently I saw a sign that Keep Evansville Beautiful put up to target litterbugs and it cracked me up!

Keep Evansville Beautiful Roasts Litterbugs With Clever Sign

Located at the intersection of Division Street and Martin Luther King Blvd just by the Lloyd overpass, sits a sign that made me crack up when I first saw it.

The Sign Reads:

WHY ARE YOU LITTERING?

  • I'm a Jerk
  • I don't care about my city
  • Mommy still cleans up after me
  • All of the above

So kudos to you Keep Evansville Beautiful! Your sign is clever and has a funny way of getting the point across that littering is totally lame.

LOOKS: Things you'd likely see in an awesomely '80s garage

From scandalous bikini calendars to your dad's AMC Gremlin, '80s garages were a treasure trove of adventure, good fun, and sometimes downright danger.
