Leslie Remembers Summers at the Pool as Owensboro City Pools Open Soon

I have such fond memories of going to the city pools when I was a kid. In the above pic, I'm the scrawny little one in the yellow ruffled bikini. My uncle was actually the manager of one of the pools and gave me my first job. I worked in the concession stand and clothes room (a place to hang your clothes while you swam before automated lockers). Every single one of my days, in the Summer, was spent at the pool. I made so many new friends and boyfriends. LOL

Kids, in Owensboro, can rejoice that the unofficial start of Summer break is just about here! Owensboro had two great pools to keep your Summer cool.
