Kentucky Two-Year-Old is Latest Certified Genius in the US
We all like to think that our kids are the smartest and the best kids, ever. And, in our eyes those things hold true. It's kind of an unofficial Best Overall Kid award. There might not be a trophy, ribbon, or banner that comes with it, but they get all the love in our hearts.
But, what if your child actually was the smartest kid? What if you noticed that they could spell and read at a very young age? What if your child was only two years old and could spell and read? That's when you would think something was very, very different about your child.
Like this toddler, from Oldham County, Kentucky, whose parents were shocked at her advanced abilities.
The young genius' parents, Amanda and Jason McNabb, first recognized their daughter's intelligence when they noticed strange configurations of plastic alphabet blocks around their house. While by the chair, the blocks had been arranged to read "chair," they spelled out "sofa" next to the family's couch...

The parents decided to take her to a psychiatrist for an evaluation. After they saw the doctor, it was suggested they contact Mensa.
