Wildly Popular TikTok Food Critic Keith Lee is in Indiana Doing Food Reviews
You may not realize this, but it's a pretty big deal that Keith Lee is reviewing food in Indiana. Let's dive into why that is.
Who is Keith Lee?
Unless you're a fan of Keith Lee you may not understand why this is such a big deal, so allow me to explain. Currently, on TikTok, Keith Lee has 15.9 million followers. He lives in the Las Vegas area and became wildly popular reviewing Vegas eateries. Keith Lee's reviews became so popular because of his unique reviewing style, plus how transparent he is with his audience. He comes across as a truly trustworthy reviewer and authentic person.
Why is it a Big Deal That Keith Lee is In Indiana?
I was scrolling through TikTok and saw that Keith Lee was currently in the Hoosier State reviewing food, and this is huge. Recently Axios wrote an article about what they dubbed the "Keith Lee effect." A Keith Lee review can really change the game for businesses. His reviews are so influential that they can literally make or break a business.
TikTok star Keith Lee's presence is enough to put a city's entire food scene on high alert.
Why it matters: Lee's ability to boost business at restaurants in cities across the country has been dubbed the "Keith Lee Effect" and made his visits highly sought after for local food scenes.
Axios goes on to highlight a couple of examples of the Keith Lee effect. For instance, a Las Vegas pizza place called Franensons was on the verge of closing, but Keith gave it a 10/10 review, and now Frankensons sells out night after night and his review got more htna 50 million views on TikTok. So Keith Lee reviewing food in Indiana is a huge opportunity for locally-owned restaurants if they get on his radar.

Keith's First Indiana Review: Chicken Scratch
The first video Keith has posted in Indiana was just posted on February 15th. In the video he is in Indianapolis reviewing a local eatery called Chicken Scratch. According to Keith's video Chicken Scratch has been around for about 3 years. I have to say after looking at the food that Keith got, I am definitely going to stop by Chicken Scratch the next time I go to Indianapolis! Check out his review below, and keep an eye on his page to see what other Indiana restaurants he reviews, I wonder if he will be heading down south to Evansville? If Keith happens to see this, feel free to reach out, we've got plenty of recommendations (and would love to have you stop by the studio)!
