Kasey Musgraves Covers 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas''

If you ask almost anyone what the worst Christmas song is, chances are most will say 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas' but dare I say, Kasey Musgraves made the song more bearable?!

Maybe it's the fact that the original version has such a whiny odd voice, or maybe none of us really understand, why DOES she want a hippo for Christmas? That seems insanely unnecessary. But either way it's a song that has lasted generations.

Kasey Musgraves recently shared a version of the song that she covered on her Twitter, and I actually kind of liked it! I mean sure, it's still that song so it's still slightly annoying, but her voice made it much better. I vote that if we have to play 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas' we at least replace it with this version!
