Every artist undoubtedly has a story about some show they did that was unlike anything else they have ever done. Jack Ingram recently had an experience like that when he was asked to perform in a fully loaded airliner, mid-flight at 35,000 feet. The show was to honor Specialist Jeremy Smith who was injured in Afghanistan and was returning home.

Ingram was more than happy to do that show which was arranged by the Boot Campaign, an organization that does so much for our military personnel. It was awkward because Ingram performed acoustically and sang into the PA microphone, which was being held by a flight attendant.

The Boot Campaign was the brainchild of five Texas women as way to show appreciation for our troops, Ingram is Texas born and bred so, it was a perfect fit. To learn more about the Boot Campaign, click here. See Ingram's in-flight performance below.
