Evansville Animal Shelter Is at Full Capacity

According to local reports, Evansville Animal Care and Control has reached full capacity, meaning the shelter is running out of room for animals in need.

To help make space, the shelter is offering **$5 adoptions for dogs, cats, and puppies.**

That's right! For just five bucks, you could potentially bring home a new four-legged family member while helping a local shelter make room for more animals.

And while the adoption fee is a great deal, the bigger picture is giving these animals a second chance at finding a forever home.

Not Ready to Adopt? You Can Still Help!

Of course, bringing home a pet is a big commitment, and it's not something you should do just because there's a good deal.

But if you've already been considering adoption, this could be a great opportunity to meet some of the animals waiting for homes.

And if adopting isn't an option right now, fostering may be another way to help. Opening your home temporarily to an animal can free up much-needed space at the shelter.

Even sharing information about the adoption special could help connect an animal with its future family.
