Tracy Lawrence Headlines Annual 4th Fest in Madisonville, KY
The City of Madisonville just announced the lineup for this year's 4th Fest and Praise in the Park and, as usual, there's literally something for everyone!
4th Fest gets underway Friday, June 28th and runs through Sunday, June 30th at Madisonville City Park. It's the largest three-day outdoor music festival in the region and it's FREE! Plus, those events are followed by the city's fireworks display on Thursday, July 4th.
Kicking things off this year on Friday, June 28th will be country music star Tracy Lawrence!
Tracy Lawrence has a storied country music career with 18 #1 singles and over 13 million albums sold. He'll be joined by recording artist, singer-songwriter Chris Knight, who's originally from nearby Slaughters, Kentucky.
4th Fest continues Saturday night (June 29th) with an incredible rap lineup headlined by Treach of Naughty by Nature.
Naughty by Nature were discovered by Queen Latifah and are best known for their international hit song "O.P.P."
The song peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Treach will be joined in Madisonville by Digital Underground!
Digital Underground is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum hip hop group known for their legendary hit "The Humpty Dance."
Then, Sunday, Praise in the Park will be headlined by CAIN- the sibling trio comprised of Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain.
The K-LOVE Fan Award winners are best known for their hits "Rise Up (Lazarus)" and "Yes He Can" as well as their single "I'm So Blessed," which became a viral sensation on social media.
CAIN will be joined by Contemporary Christian band Consumed by Fire.
Madisonville Mayor Kevin Cotton says "With three nights of diverse music, including country, hip hop and praise and worship, there's something for everyone to enjoy, This lineup truly reflects the vibrancy and diversity of our community."
