I guess Buc-ee's fever never really subsides. It's been 16 months since the most recent store opened in Kentucky, in Smith's Grove on Interstate 65. But I've never been there, regardless of the time of day, when it wasn't slam-packed.

So far, I've visited that one and the one in Richmond, so I'm a little off my game compared to friends of mine who, based on their Facebook posts, have hit at least four of them. And soon, there will be many more around which to build pilgrimages. You can't tell me those don't happen.

Buc-ee's Openings in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio

The third Kentucky Buc-ee's was originally supposed to open in 2025, but that's been pushed back (way back) to 2027. It will be in Oak Grove, Kentucky, near Fort Campbell and the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. This spring will see the grand opening of        Buc-ee's in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The Volunteer State will get another Buc-ee's in 2027 in Gallaway. And coming soon to Huber Heights, Ohio, the first Buc-ee's location north of the Ohio River. Huber Heights is a northern suburb of Dayton.

More Buc-ee's Stores Across the Country

Finance Buzz recently announced the 19 cities where Buc-ee's stores will open through 2028. I think it's fair to say that excitement has begun to brew in Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, Arizona (a first out West), Texas (where they already have a ton), North Carolina, Wisconsin (another one up North), Kansas, and South Carolina.

Like Texas, some states in that list already have at least one Buc-ee's. Now, they're just getting more, adding to the frenzy.
